Back from Philly

We are back from our wedding in Philly. I'm going to be working on the pictures this week and hope to get a sneak peek up soon! I am still a little under the weather but back to business as usual.

Off to Philly

Well I did keep the flu at bay and just ended up with a cold. My girls are slowly recovering - it really wiped them out. Though it's not the best time to take a trip, getting out of the house may do them good. Looking forward to a beautiful destination wedding in Philly!

We are back...

and down for the count.... My girlies got sick on Friday and it hit them hard. 104 degree temps, cold symptoms, stomach symptoms the whole works. So it was a long ride home and I took them to the doctor today and it's a flu diagnosis and double ear infections for both of them. Poor things - I feel so bad for them. Madison (5)had one sick visit when she was 6 months old and Emma (3) never so they and I are not used to dealing with such sickness. Emma has not been able to keep much down and has to get some fluids to stay down or she may have to go to the hospital....

I am taking vitamin C and doing all I can to not get it since I have a wedding to photograph this weekend in Philadelphia, PA.


Hope your families are all well - it's a bad time of year for sickness. The line at the pharmacy was huge and the cold medication aisle was packed.

Out of town

I will be out of town from Feb 24th - March 3. I don't believe that I will be able to pick up a internet signal where I am at. So all emails will be returned when I get home!

Technical difficulties

Having some problems with technology this week. My computer died on Friday and am now making do with my laptop till the part comes in. Then this morning my phone has no dial tone. My email is still working so if you call and get a busy signal please email me and I will get back to you.

Editted to add... The wonderful windstream man came this morning and fixed our phone and it's better than it's ever been!! :)

Now if I can get the Dell tech to get my part off backorder and fix my computer... :(

There is a baby boom happening around here this spring and summer!! Congrats to the families expecting a new little one. Since newborns are my favorite to photograph I'm offering a special! Any newborn session booked in Feb, March, April will get $20 off the session price! I will probably run the special again in the summer. The catch is the baby has to be a month old or less. Two weeks and under is even better. How do you schedule when you don't know when the baby is coming for sure? Call soon as you get home from the hospital and I will fit you in! If you have a scheduled date for the arrival call ahead and we will set something up ahead of time. I have some new baby wraps I'm anxous to try out!!

Any newborns also will qualify for a baby plan discount - each session done will earn you a $20 off coupon towards the next session. So get your 3mo, 6mo, 9mo, and one year session all $20 off! Call or email for more details!

Portrait party!

I'm considering offering portrait parties. A hostess would invite some friends with their kiddos over for some fun and each child would get a 15 minute session. They would be shown around 10 -15 pictures per child. I would bring backdrops, props, and lights if needed. The mom's get a fun evening out with the kids and get some cute pictures to boot. The perk is for the hostess as she gets free pictures too for hosting the party. The participating families just each need to agree to spend $50 on pictures each. But NO session fee is due!
